Ceremony
We will be having a traditional Catholic ceremony, including a full Mass with the opportunity to receive communion. Please see below for common questions regarding Mass traditions and customs.
Can I attend Mass if I am not Catholic?
Yes! All are welcome and encouraged to attend our ceremony Mass.
How will I know what is going on?
There will be a program to help you follow along during the Mass. Please join us in the Mass responses and songs if you feel called to.
Can I receive communion if I am not Catholic?
Receiving the Eucharist is a tradition reserved for those who have completed the Sacrament of First Communion. To respect the holiness of the tradition, we kindly ask that only those who have completed this step join in receiving.
What should I do during communion if I am not receiving?
You are welcome to join the receiving line with your arms crossed to receive a blessing from the priest. Or you may remain in your pew and use the time for prayer, reflection or well wishes.
