Jared and Stephanie met in St. Louis at Ballpark Village in July of 2015. Jared and Stephanie's brother, Tyler, were buddies from college at Illinois State University. Tyler knew Jared was in St. Louis and suggested meeting up with him at Ballpark Village. Jared and Stephanie did not say a word to each other the whole time and parted ways. A couple of weeks later, Jared and Stephanie both showed up at the same bar (Brother's) with mutual friends. Jared worked up the courage to go strike a conversation with Stephanie. Neither could remember what the conversation consisted of. They then parted ways again at the end of the night without exchanging phone numbers or making plans to meet again. Another couple of weeks later, they were both at the same exact bar with separate groups of friends. Stephanie was with her Best Friend and Maid of Honor, Terra. Jared was there with some buddies. Stephanie and Terra were sitting on the upper balcony of the bar that overlooks the first floor. Stephanie spotted Jared in the crowd and knew it was her turn to make a move. She dove into the Twitter DM and watched him open the message from above. He replied instantly asking where she was at. She saw him looking around the bar for her. He then found her, while drunk out of his mind, and kissed her on the forehead. They parted ways at the end of the night yet again, but this time they continued to communicate here and there through Twitter (I think). Jared knew Stephanie was going to be transferring to Illinois State University that fall. Tyler had half a year left until he graduated, so he and Jared would still hangout. Jared told Tyler one day, while golfing, that he was going to take his sister out on a date. Tyler replied, "I don't give a f***, do what you want." Jared reached out to Stephanie about coming to his and Blake's (our officiant) party a week or two later. Stephanie and Jared were beer pong partners that night, and the rest is history.
