Hey party people! I’m Sherylley, Manang Moren’s cousin and maid of honor! Known her all 27 years of my life, she’s been one of the most constant things since literal day zero. We’ve experienced life in all its glory together from our early childhood days in San Jose to our adolescent years in Stockton. We’ve endured the many stages of life together as she has flourished into the woman she is today, embodying strength in all avenues. I met John as Manang Moren’s “bodyguard” when I was 15 years old, so he has easily been another constant for most of my growing years. When John and I first met, I did not have the slightest idea as to the prominent figure he would play in my life as someone to look up to in the years to come. Not only did they define what love was for each other, but they showed me at an early age what love is truly meant to be. I was not surprised one bit when they asked me to be part of their wedding, I find myself to be at their house more than my own, enjoying their company, even if it’s just sitting and staring at each other. Frankly, I already made my wedding speech long ago, but I find myself adding more to it every day as I uncover more reason why they both inspire me. With a heart of extreme gratitude, I can’t wait to be part of your yesterday, today, and forever!

Hello everybody! My name is Mark Poncardas and I have known John and Maureen since HS, but we all met each other during youth group at St. George’s all those years ago and we’ve been stuck together ever since. I’m excited to be part of their Bridal party, but more so to witness the magic of these two tying the knot firsthand and to be behind the scenes, witnessing the build up until their special day! It seems like it wasn’t too long ago, they surprised me with their big question to be a part of their special moment. Not only to be part of their bridal party, but to be John’s best man I was speechless. Internally cried btw. But thugged it out. One thing I’d like the newly wed couple to know before their new journey ahead is : live every moment for each other, understand that it’s all about compromises and it’s never 50-50. It’s 70-30 or 80-20. Whichever of you is feeling low it’s up to the other to hold you up. I wish you both nothing, but joy and happiness on this new path you’ll both lead together with your family!

My name is Tiffanie and I'm the third oldest sister to Johnathon. I am also Rosalyn Jane's Ninang. What I am most excited about being in the bridal party is that I get to experience and be a part of their special celebration up close and personal, from start to finish. I knew that I was at least going to be a bridesmaid, but when I was asked to be one of Maureen's MOHs...I felt surprised and overly honored to be asked to have such a big role in their wedding. Hello everybody, I’m Maurice AKA Brother Bear to Maureen AKA Moren. I met my sister at the hospital a couple of decades ago, where she ended my blissful, only-child era with her seemingly innocent presence. As my mother lulled my baby sis to sleep in her tired arms, I remembered her very first advice about this weird looking newborn with an unusually large head. Her advice became a vivid memory throughout these years. Do you want to know what our mother told me about my one and only ading, Maureen? I can tell you … on their wedding day. As for Jonathan, I don’t exactly remember when we first met. He just naturally appeared, as if my sister manifested him from youth group. What I do remember was wondering if he was “the one” for my sis. Time will tell, I thought. However, I don’t feel the need to wonder, or question it anymore because time reveals everything. Johnathon and Maureen are meant to be together, period. I am grateful to be the Man of Honor for Maureen and John’s very special day. They get to be the main characters living their true love story; as they celebrate their love officially with family and friends. The fact that my sister has found her ride-or-die has always brought me joy. To Johnathon and Maureen, may your times together be full of enduring love, trust, and deep happiness. Hi hiii, my name is Marylley! I am Manang Moren’s cousin and bridesmaid. I met Manang Moren 24 years ago, by our dads, because they are brothers. Manang Moren has always felt like another older sister to me. Going back to the old days where I would offer to “clean” her room, but instead I would steal from her secretly, hahaha. Unfortunately, the only one stealing from her nowadays is John. Thank you John for stealing her heart <3 I met John as her “bodyguard” years long ago, but now he’s officially family, honestly he always has been. Thank you both for having me a part of your bridal party and I’m so excited to celebrate true love within you two. I like …..🥭 I met Maureen sometime during HS, I think more specifically during FilAzn/Kilusan days, but definitely through youth group and over the years we grew close. She’s my Sis, my mama confidant, “Molly and Estelle”, Marè.. - always ❤️ I also have had the privilege to witness Maureen and John’s beautiful relationship grow from different aspects of our lives, but again, one of my most favorite moments is through St. George youth group. #SGYG4LYFE I AM TRULY HONORED & surprised. I knew they were going to be celebrating their marriage later this year, but y’all to be a part of the squaaad and turn those 13 L’s into W’s aka 0, just know I’m hella excited and grateful to be a part of a dope entourage and witness John and Maureen’s next chapter in life. Hi! My name is Mark Refuerzo! I’m one of Maureen’s and John’s close friends… I think or hope I am haha. Believe it or not, 12 years ago I use to call Maureen and John my “parents” back in highschool. I “kind of” met Maureen back in middle school when I use to talk on the phone with her cousin Sherylley, and Maureen would take the phone and threaten to beat me up and interrogate me. I then met John when Maureen brought him to Youth Group, which was a church group Maureen and I were heavily involved in and after that we stayed close since. One thing I’m most excited about being in the bridal party is just being apart of their special day and hoping to help make their dream wedding come true. If John forgets anything or needs underwear because he forgot to wear his, I’ll give him mine so the wedding can go on. Other than that I love these two to death and I’m blessed to call them family and be able to witness their relationship grow and the love they have for each other.
