For their first date, they went to Romano’s Las Brazos, Ira met Hailey's parents, and the young couple ended their night sitting in Hailey's driveway watching the stars (the 3 you can see from a driveway in Houston, Tx). By their second date, their Moms met, and by the third date, Ira was taking Hailey to his high school prom. March 24th, 2019, they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Over the next 5 years, Hailey and Ira went on many travel excursions throughout Texas, something they truly love to do together. The couple has grown together through lifestyle changes, distance, goal changes, dream adjustments, and they did it by faith in the glory of God’s plan. On February 18, 2024, Ira took Hailey back to the park across the street from her childhood home, where years earlier they had dreamed of the future. He proposed.
