Hannah and Dean met in their 7th grade english class. Although, that may not exactly qualify as “meeting” considering the fact that (being two nervous 12 year olds) they didn’t speak a word to each other until the middle of 8th grade. Dean eventually asked Hannah to be his girlfriend and they attended an extremely awkward 8th grade formal together. They didn't see much of one another throughout their years in high school but each of them never stopped crushing on the other. Hannah moved away from Las Vegas after their sophomore year of high school and then went off to college in Kentucky. Fast forward to Christmas of 2013, Dean was attending college in their hometown and Hannah had just moved to San Diego. While Hannah was home for the holidays, they ran into each other at a party and hit it off once again. They both could not stop thinking about one another after that day. Come April, they ran into each other again at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and that was it, the two were head over heels. After the festival, they both went home to their separate cities and began communicating non-stop. June 2014, they decided to officially commit to a long distance relationship. Dean moved to San Diego exactly a year later and they never looked back. Their 7 year-long crushes on one another resulted in a 7 year-long, magical adventure of a relationship. The two have been happily living together in their favorite city ever since and will spend the rest of their lives navigating this crazy world hand in hand.
