We did it!

Joe and I had gone out kayaking as we do most weekends. After we had paddled our hearts out all day and we're tired, we headed back to the truck. I threw my kayak in the bed of the truck and went and hopped in the cab waiting for Joe to finish tying the kayaks down so we could go home. I hear a yell and all i can think is; Oh no theres a kayak tipped over on top of my boyfriend. So I run to the back of the truck to find him down on one knee. I was so surpirsed all I could say was, “shut up, get away from me.” Obviously I said yes.

It was a hot, humid afternoon as I was standing at the threshold of Nic Parisi’s garage working up a plan with him to go target shooting. Once we had everything ready to go I told Nic he should give Sara a call and invite her to go with us, which was really my plan from the beginning. Sara lived across the street from Nic, and I was very eager to meet her since she'd only waved to us when I had been over at Nic's before. After some reluctance she walked across the road to talk to us and almost immediately her witty jokes and sibling like banter with Ni had me laughing to no end, so the three of us left for the woods soon after. A few hours later we retuned and all of us had a great time. Sara needed to leave for work, and I was left completely smitten by her outgoing, loving and passionate personality, not to mention an elegant beauty that can't be put into words. All I wanted was to see her again and take her on a date, and I'm very happy to say that she felt the same.
