Alexa first saw Jonathan in a picture with her brother from their vocational school graduation. Matt surprisingly gave Jonathan her phone number and they spoke nearly every day. They were in a long distance relationship for three years before Jonathan moved from Florida to New Jersey and they've been together a total of 10 years & counting...

Alexa and Jonathan were scheduled to take pictures with Alexa's sister-in-law for her website/portfolio (which was just not the case!). They went to Manasquan beach and started to take photos, Jonathan randomly turned Alexa around, got down on one knee, and popped the question. It was a total surprise!
