The Golden Hoosier

Our Favorite Local Bar/Burger Joint - If taxidermied animals, vintage campground vibes, and a really good burger sound like your kind of night, this is the spot for you. Rachel's Order: Hoosier Burger with Rosemary Parmesan Fries Connor's Order: Southside Burger with Sweet Potato Fries

Menya Rui

Blues City Deli

2438 McNair Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63104

The best sandwich shop in the city. If Connor ever had to choose between rescuing me or one of these sandwiches, I’m not totally convinced he’d choose correctly. Our recommendations are the Thunderbird or the Chicken Shack Ranch.

Balkan Treat Box

8103 Big Bend Boulevard, Webster Groves, MO 63119

Rachel's Favorite Restaurant - Come hungry. Leave emotionally attached to the flatbread. Rachel's Order: Beef Pide Connor's Order: Different every time, but he's loved everything he's tried.

City Museum

750 North 16th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103

The Most Fun You’ll Have While Being Mildly Concerned for Your Safety — A giant artistic playground full of slides, tunnels, and more children than seems statistically possible.

Forest Park

St. Louis, MO 63112

St. Louis Art Museum, The Zoo, Art Hill, St. Louis History Museum, The Science Center - It's bigger than Central Park! If you run out of things to do here, that’s honestly on you.

Missouri Botanical Garden

4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63110

A perfect place to slow down, touch grass, and pretend you know the names of plants.

Gateway Arch National Park

St. Louis, MO 63102

Is this the coolest National Park? Definitely not. But it is the smallest, so you might as well check it off your bucket list.
