When Marlie needed a summer job one year, she decided to look into living and working up at the Houghton Lake cabin. Thankfully her family got her in contact with Patty Galbraith to inquire about a job at Lakeland Recreation. The rest is history. Theo and Marlie spent the summer getting to know eachother after Lakeland would close - they had countless bonfires, Back Door Saloon trips, gator rides and best of all, deep conversations where they grew to become best friends. They have grown in adulthood together, graduated from Central Michigan University (where they lived a street apart for 2 years unknowingly), and have started their fur family with adoption of their sweet kitty Moxie and later their best boy Bear. And the sweet blessing of their baby on the way in August. The ceremony will be in Midland, MI with reception to follow at Bay Valley Resort. We cannot wait for this special day and to share our love and marriage with you all! Let the celebration begin.
