YES. Plenty of parking at Safe Harbor Penisula Yacht Club.

What should I wear?

Answer

We can't wait to see you! Our event is primarily outdoors (with a tent provided) and weather in North Carolina in May can vary from 65-80 degrees and up! There will be some walking in grass and on docks so choose the right footwear. Guests please come dressed in your best Yacht Club themed attire. For the guys...collared shirts with dress pants required (Jackets/Ties are optional...after all we are at the "lake")

How far is the reception venue from the Homewood Suites in Davidson (preferred hotel)

Answer

It's a quick 5.7 miles (12min) ride or Uber from this hotel. *If you use Uber please consider "scheduling" one and sharing rides with other guests to assure you will get to the venue in plenty of time for the ceremony.

Our group might be interested in larger accommodations or extending our stay to enjoy beautiful Lake Norman!

Answer

There are hundreds of Airbnb's on Lake Norman. Look for ones that are either in Mooresville or Cornelius on the "east" side of the lake (looking at a map). Lake Norman is HUGE (over 500 miles of shoreline). We suggest finding ones with the most flexible cancellation policies.

We want to get out on the water during our stay. How do I book a cruise?

We highly recommend Carolina Cruising Charters (Cornelius). We have used them before and we had a blast! Gather up a group and spend the day on the lake (but not on Saturday May 30th LOL) https://carolinacruisingcharters.com/

Can we bring our "littles"?

Answer

We know that several of our guests have new babies and toddlers. While we don't have any accommodations or activities for older kids, if you need to bring your baby/toddler with you to some portion of the event you are welcome to do so. We invited you and we want you to have a GREAT time!
