As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids. Please reach out if you have questions!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

What if I would like to give a speech or contribute during the wedding?

Answer

If you would like to say a few words, give a speech, or contribute in any other way during the wedding celebration, please let Tilda know (+46 739838211). Depending on how much time there is on the schedule, we will do our best to give the opportunity, to everyone who wants, to do something special for our day. Please have your speech in Swedish or English.

What about all the different languages during the wedding?

We have thought about this a lot and we have come to the conclusion that it will be the best to have the ceremony in Swedish (without translation) and the party in Swedish as well with some sort of translation either through an app or other similar options, so if you don’t understand Swedish, please bring a pair of earphones (maybe an extra for a friend in need) to listen to the translation in order to not disturb others.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Uppsala, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here in September can be a bit unpredictable. During the day, it’s usually quite pleasant – around 15–18°C – but it can get chilly in the evenings, especially if we’re outdoors. So be sure to pack some warm layers – we don’t want anyone freezing their bu… well, you get the point. 😉

There is a parking lot by the church and plenty of free parking near the venue.

Is there transportation being provided between the church and the reception?

Let's try to help each other out. If you have a space free in your car then please bring someone that needs a ride. If you need help, feel free to reach out.

What kind of gift should I bring?

Answer

If you wish to give a gift, we truly appreciate presents that are personal and thoughtfully chosen – something that reflects our relationship, your personality, or something we can use in our new life together. We don’t have a traditional gift registry, but if you’d like some inspiration or guidelines, you can ask us or someone close to us. Otherwise, money is also a good option that we would appreciate greatly.

Is there a place to stay overnight for us that don't live in Uppsala?

We will, at our best capacity, try to find a spot for everybody that's in need to stay somewhere overnight. Contact Tilda by text at +46 739838211. Otherwise there are also hotels in Uppsala.
