Yes! In a shocking turn of events, Emile and Theodora got legally married on December 26. After being the best of friends, living with each other for over a year, and supporting each other through good times and bad, they took a look at all the benefits and decided to get legally married as best friends. It isn't a conventional marriage but what's better than a legally binding commitment getting you stuck for life with your best friend?

Is this a wedding?

No, this is our "not a wedding party" which will be a celebration of our legally binding commitment to one another. Think of it as a party for close family and friends to celebrate our being stuck together.

Emile and Theodora got married December 26 in a very quick ceremony and signing of legally binding documents.

No, we are not requesting gifts, just your presence to celebrate with us! If you would like to provide a gift for the newlyweds, you can donate to our travel fund as we both love to visit new places around the world.

Business casual (or black tie if you're feeling fancy). Just come comfortable and ready to celebrate!

Will there be refreshments?

It wouldn't be a party without refreshments. We will be providing finger foods as well as alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks to accompany the celebration. If you would like to bring drinks of your own, that is perfectly welcome.
