Castle Island holds a special place in our hearts. James' parents used to take him here for walks when he was little. Anytime we needed a study break, you could find us taking in the beautiful view while enjoying their great raspberry lime rickeys! :)
We've really grown to love baseball because of the atmosphere at this ballpark. I know what all of our New York family is thinking but for everyone else, Fenway Park is a great place to catch a game! You also haven't lived until you've had the Fenway Franks. :)
Before we officially moved to Boston, James brought me to the city for a Blue Man group show. We had time before the show and stumbled upon the infamous Newbury St. It was one of the first city streets we walked down together. If you're in a shopping mood, this is the place to go!
This is my home away from home and holds a special place in our hearts. If you get the chance to spend some extra time here, I promise this is worth it. In July you might have to fight some crowds off during the day, but this beach is also home to some of the most amazing sunsets I have ever experienced. Whether it's day or night it won't disappoint!
James and I used to use our student discount and pretend we were tourists for the day. These tours are great because you get to see the city from the streets as well as the river!
We love taking walks through the Common. Sometimes we need a break from the tall buildings and lack of greenery the city has to offer. Times like these, we find ourselves in the Common, feeding the ducks and enjoying all of the flowers.
Old Sturbridge Village is conveniently located near the wedding venue! It's a quaint and cute little place where you can experience some 19th century New England history!
For anyone who knows James, you know how much he loves fishing (I think a little more than he loves me). He could spend days in the aquarium and even wanted to get married here! We suggest you check it out to see how much fun it is yourselves!
