Here is how it all began…. In the fall of 2017, Reed was on his way to meet up with his friends for an event that was happening on the campus. While Reed was walking to the event, he was on the phone. Precious was walking to her dorm from cheer practice, when she saw Reed. Precious than approached him and said, “Don’t be texting and walking!” Precious was referencing the famous quote, “Don’t text and drive”. Reed laughed mildly. A couple of days went by, and they ran into each other again in the lobby of one of their dorm halls. Precious approached Reed again to say hello and this time they had a conversation. This time the interaction produced results and after a month of talking, Reed took Precious on their first date December 3rd, 2017 to watch the Disney movie , “Coco”. This was the beginning of their relationship. Precious and Reed have been inseparable since and are college sweethearts.

On the white sandy beach of Destin, I asked Precious to be my wife. With nervous anticipation, I dropped down on one knee knowing that the woman I was asking was truly the one for me. The day of the proposal was an eventful day in which we spent the entire day with Precious's family. On our drive back from Orlando, we decided to make a quick stop in Destin for the day to explore the beautiful beach front. We were met with clean, white sand and a clear blue sky to enjoy the day. Throughout our time on the shore, I knew in the front of my mind that I was about to ask one of the biggest questions of my life. From that point forward, I sought out the perfect opportunity to ask her. The moment I asked her we both knew all of the memories and wonderful times that built up to that moment, and it truly was an incredible experience. We embraced and I could not wait to tell all of my family great news. I was so proud and joyful that I was able to pull off a wonderful proposal despite how intensely nervous I was. Our wedding day will be the celebration of Us and everyone who has affected us and has provided so much inspiration to Precious and I. We are excited to see everyone there and June 10th can not come any sooner!
