Eric and I met in 2018 when we started working at Target in Starbucks together. I can't explain it, but from the moment I saw him, some part of me just knew then and there that he was my person. After working together and getting to know each other for a year, l was smitten. One boring night closing Starbucks together, I felt something hit the back of my head. I turned around to see Eric with a mischievous smile on his face and a handful of espresso beans. That's when I knew he felt the same!

We were just a few weeks away from moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. Eric suggested a romantic day together to celebrate our last couple weeks on Long Island. He planned a day of mini golf, dinner, and a trip to the beach to watch the sunset. I had no idea that he was recreating our first date! After an amazing day together, I was surprised with a heart of shells, roses, and tea lights in the sand and a beautiful sunset over the water. He guided me to the center of the heart and proposed!
