On August 8th, 2015, Liz was hired as a Realtor by John’s parents, Earl and Linda. They mentioned their son might join for showings, and when he did, it was an instant connection. With his parents out of state, John helped oversee the process, giving him and Liz more time together. During the home inspection, John asked Liz out on their first date, and that moment was the start of everything. ♥

We we're engaged April, 13th 2024 at sunset. We we're married the following afternoon, on a beautiful 72 degree Sunday, April 14th, 2024 in Bay City, Michigan + Just days before their wedding, Elizabeth’s father, Tom, underwent a serious medical procedure and was in critical condition with an uncertain prognosis. While he was in the hospital, John asked for a private moment with Tom—and in that moment, he asked for his blessing to marry Elizabeth. Soon after, Tom was brought home for hospice care. Throughout the years, Tom had often said one of his greatest wishes was to dance with each of his daughters on their wedding day. Knowing how much that meant to him, and to them—John and Elizabeth decided they didn’t want to wait. With love leading the way, they planned a wedding in under 24 hours so they could celebrate with both of their parents by their sides. What unfolded that day was nothing short of magical. Despite the circumstances, everything came together with an ease and beauty that felt straight out of a storybook. It was intimate, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
