Theo (who lives in Seattle, Washington) and Kristin (who lives in Chino, California) met in 2019 for a Dreamcatcher concert and met through a mutual friend. It wasn't expected that their interactions would carry onto a friendship, and although they played a couple of video games together, they lost contact. One day Theo messaged Kristin on League of Legends asking to play a game, unfortunately Kristin did not play Summoner's Rift, only ARAMs. They started spending a lot of time talking to each other about common interests, including K-pop. There was a tour in February 2022 coming up for their favorite girl group Twice, and Theo was planning to make the trip down for the concert, which fell right after his birthday (which is on Valentine's day). They planned to go out on a date since he would be in the area. She offered to pick him up from LAX and took him out to his favorite fast-food chain In n Out. They had a nice late dinner and got to really know each other. The next couple of days were busy because of the Twice concerts but still made time before and after the concert to spend more time together. During the second day of the concert, Kristin wasn't feeling too well, and Theo offered to keep her company and take care of her until she got better. They spent their first date in Little Tokyo where they walked around and ate lunch. Theo had to fly out the next day to go back home in Seattle, while Kristin was flying out to Oakland for another concert. When they said their goodbyes, they definitely felt like there was something more than friendship. Once both Theo and Kristin went home, they discussed their feelings for each other and decided to continue meeting with good feelings. Since they are in a long distance relationship, they both made efforts to see each other as often as they could. Kristin visited Theo in Seattle, and Theo visited Kristin in Chino. They would spend their birthdays together, and try to find something exciting and new to do. When they are away from each other, they FaceTime almost everyday, and remind them that they are loved. Long distance isn't always easy, but it was always worth it. Fast forward to December 8th, 2023 in Vancouver BC, Theo planned out a short trip because Kristin has never been to Canada before. Once they arrived at the hotel, they had a great view of the city. They had dressed up for dinner and wanted to look at the view from the balcony before heading out. There, Theo got down on one knee and asked Kristin the big question. It was an easy yes for her. Now they're currently planning to say "I do." in front of their families and friends.
