Can we Bring our Little Ones To the Wedding?

While we love little ones as much as you and recommend they join you for a weekend at Kingsmill, we kindly request that the wedding be an adult-only event.

How Can I Book A Condo at Kingsmill?

Answer

Joe and Valerie are contracting with Kingsmill, so the rooms on the online block will only show the "King single bed" and "Room with 2 Double Beds". For the condos, please call Kingsmill at Reservations at 1-800-832-5665 and let them know that they are with the Carroll & Norman After Party/Room Block so they can receive the discounted rates listed on our website!

What's the Recommended Ground Transit if I'm Flying?

Answer

If you are flying, Uber & Lyft are more affordable in Virginia than the NYC metro area. Car Rentals are also available at both airports, and recommended if you are flying into Richmond. Keep in mind that the day of the wedding, there will be a shuttle taking everyone staying at Kingsmill to the Wedding Venue and back.

How Long is the Drive from New Jersey/New York?

If you leave early morning, you can make easy time, about 6 hours, to Williamsburg Virginia! Feel free to reach out to Joe for recommended routes.

What's the Temperature Like in Early October?

Answer

In Virginia, early October weather has historically been in the mid-high 70s. The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors!

Will There be Scheduled Activities Throughout the Weekend?

Answer

Yes! Whether it's a casual hang at Governor's Land, or a boat outing, there will be plenty of group activities, and we will gladly loop in whoever would like to be involved.

Are there other hotels to stay at?

Answer

Because of William & Mary football, hotel reservations are very limited. We recommend booking with Kingsmill and the resort offers condo options if a group would like to stay together! If you are having issues booking through the block, please reach out to Valerie at 804-690-8272 and we'll call Kingsmill as long as it's before the cutoff date of September 5, 2023
