Maid of Honor
The emblem of an older sister, Kristen is the ideal role model. She has a comforting presence, unmeasurable intelligence, and always has the best advice and support. It's not difficult to see that we're related as Kristen can usually be found on the dance floor singing every song and bustin' some moves. It was the easiest decision to ask my sister to be my maid of honor - I could not imagine this day without her by my side!
Best Man
We first met at a freshman orientation at Truman over the summer, where our counselor made fun of us for both being accounting majors (our CPAs are laughing at her now!). After playing soccer together for 4 years and roommates for 5 years, we were sick of each other and finally both moved across the country. Maybe (hopefully) one day we could live in the same city again! Jeremy has always been there for me, always someone I could talk to and one of my best friends since we first met, couldn't imagine him not being next to me on my big day!
Bridesmaid
The newest addition to the Wacker name, Christine has been family from the day we met -I only refer to her as my older sister, not "sister-in-law". A beautiful wife, full-time ICU nurse, and the most outstanding (new!) mom to 2 beautiful children, Christine is one of my biggest role models as she emulates all the qualities I hope to have someday. As if the standard hasn't already been set, Christine is that one friend that everyone needs in their life - her incredible compassion for others and unwavering dedication to anything and everything she sets her mind to are just a few of her numerous qualities that I use to describe Christine. This very special day wouldn't be complete without Christine... and there would be far less margaritas drank, too!
Best Man
Josh and I first met during move in day our freshman year at Truman. We spent the next 4 years being roommates, spending our time playing soccer, playing Xbox in our downtime and pranking each other along with our other roommates. A year and a half after college he missed being in the same city as me, or because his job and now wife took him to STL (up for debate), we got to be roommates again. Josh has also been one of my best friends since we met and my wedding day would not be the same without him by my side.
Bridesmaid
Outstanding cook, (almost) pro fisherwoman, gardener, DIY and craft expert, phenomenal photographer... is there anything Kara can't do? She is not only the most interesting woman you'll talk to, but Kara is also one of the kindest, thoughtful and personable people you'Il meet! Kara has welcomed me into the Nord family since we met, and it is an honor to be able to have Kara as my bridesmaid and sister.
Groomsman
A friendship that started early on at college, you had everything figured out before everybody else. Jake approaches everything with a positive attitude, you'll always find a good time when he's around. I missing the times all we did was talk stocks, play golf and get some dubs. Jake’s been an incredible friend, truly one of a kind. I was fortunate to be a part of your big day, glad you'll be with me for mine!
Bridesmaid
A friendship that began early in our volleyball days, Eva has been one of my best friends throughout high school, college and beyond. Even while playing on rival teams in college, Eva is always one of my biggest supporters. Eva is as authentic as they come (in the ~best way possible) with her infectious laugh and candid personality - I am confident she holds a record for making the most amount of people laugh so hard they pee their pants. I am so lucky to have Eva as a friend and my bridesmaid for this special day!
Groomsman
One of my longest friends, an unexpected meet at our at our mom's work picnic lunch in high school. That picnic must have left a lasting impression for us and created a great friendship. Many years playing club soccer together and hanging out often. I will always cherish the memories of playing soccer golf to actual golf, helping with Santa night and countless other memories. Chris is one of my best friends and I am happy you'll be with me on my wedding day and I can't wait to be with you on yours!
Bridesmaid
Izzy has been my best friend since we were in the fourth grade. To paint y'all a picture of our friendship, I would routinely show up to her parents' house *unannounced* and stay for days with no intention to go home. Life is pretty great when you're living with your BFF! While our matching school uniforms were required, our coordinated outfits every other day was intentional and by no means required by anyone but ourselves. Izzy is that one friend you can call at 3 am and she will answer on the first ring and her laugh will undoubtedly make you smile from ear to ear. She is constantly putting her friends and family first and is the most selfless person I know. Izzy has been part of my family for quite some time and I am so incredibly lucky she is next to me on this memorable day!
Groomsman
Although both at Truman during the same time, a friendship that didn't form until our graduate school year. Parker's the guy that will always be there for his friends, and definitely can't say no to a happy hour beer. Through COVID, we never had to make plans. It became an assumption every weekend we would either go golfing (or talk about it constantly), have a bonfire or just find anything to do other than sit around at our houses. Can't wait for you to be with me on my wedding day and maybe reminisce over a nice 'tequila neat'!
Bridesmaid
Meghan and I first met at Camp Lakewood (pictures to prove it), but became much closer friends when we were unexpectedly re-introduced at Villa. Our schedules had us together most of the day Monday through Friday, but the fun didn't stop with the final school bell - we also played on the same club and high school team! Meghan and I were together almost every single day (literally). Trustworthy and incredibly kind, Meghan will always stick by your side and is good for the soul. She knows just about every song ever recorded (seriously, it's scary), so if you're looking for Meg she's probably near the DJ with a glass of champagne. I'm beyond blessed to have Meghan as a lifelong friend and my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
When you came to Truman sophomore year, I wasn't sure what to think but we were roommates before long. Many memories were made that year along with the next four years through grad school. Kane is always there to make sure you're having a good time and not taking life too seriously. Jake and I wouldn't have gotten many dubs without your vital contributions! Let's have a party! I am excited you'll be along side me on my big day!
Bridesmaid
Jocy and I first met at camp before our first college season. After knowing each other for less than 48 hours, Jocy's flights were (fortunately for me) cancelled and it was a no-brainer that she would stay with my family in St. Louis. We instantaneously became inseparable - on several occasions, others had expressed their concern regarding why we weren't attached at the hip. Jocelynn's natural intelligence and love for her friends will undoubtedly grab your attention first, but you'll soon notice her outstanding ability to quote TV shows and movies verbatim - entire monologues! This day wouldn't be the same without a true friend like Jocy as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
As Lauren's built-in best friend, I've felt the inseparable honest but light hearted bond between the both of you from the moment we met. I am fortunate enough to have started to build that bond with you. Since I've known you, you have always been there for us and have several great memories while you were living with Lauren, on Wacker family trips and when you've visited us in Houston! We wouldn’t be able to have the ceremony without you included!
Bridesmaid
Sam doesn't need an introduction, but that will make sense once you're in the same room as her. A class below mine, Sam and I met at college and, unfortunately for everyone else, her crazy personality matched perfectly with mine. It's safe to say it didn't take long for our chaotic friendship to begin. To this day I haven't met a single person that hasn't loved Sammy and I don't think I ever will. Don't let this comedian fool you, Sam is one of the smartest and hardest working people I've ever met. She's the definition of work hard play hard and is going to make an incredible dentist before much longer - they grow up so fast (I'm only 2 months older than her)! I am so happy that Sam is part of this big day!
Groomsman
Friendship through Lauren, Kevin has been a great teacher in all things CrossFit and dad jokes. He's also been a great role model to Lauren and has taught me through his actions how to be loving, caring and overall great husband. Hopefully I can catch on to some of your jokes and make Lauren laugh as much as you make Christine. I am excited to have Kevin as a future brother, although he has already made me feel a part of the family already.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and I didn't become friends until closer to the end of our college days, but it didn't take long before we were making trips to visit each other and going on vacations together. Maggie is unapologetically herself. and her big heart for others will leave you wanting to be a better person. She's notably one of the easiest people to talk to. In fact, on our 14 hour drive to Hilton Head Island we literally talked for 13 of those hours straight. Our throats were sore that entire night! It's hard being the farthest away from Maggie than we've been before, but she always makes every effort to keep in touch and genuinely loves her friends. I am so thankful Maggie's beautiful soul will be a few steps away on this special day!
Groomsman
As my brother-in-law, I can't remember the exact time Kara introduced you to us. I do know that since that day, Tyler has felt a part of the family. Tyler has helped me style my first suit, and we've spent countless hours bonding over our love of dogs, fishing, new clothing brands and countless other interests. I am glad you are part of my big day!
