Both having a passion to work with children in education, we were both paraeducators at Harlan Elementary school. We passed by each other in the hallways often speaking and just saying hello. One day the conversation extended beyond hello and we found ourselves talking about church. Overtime we exchanged numbers and even worked summer school together for the 1st time.(2016). It was during this time we went from coworkers to friends and friends to lovers. Who would of a thought a new job would later turn into the beginning of a lifetime of love.
Andrea and I dated for 3 1/2 years. During this time I found Andrea to be a beautiful woman with a wonderful personality. I admired her character, consistency in her beliefs, the way she carried herself and her love for God. In my decision making to make her my wife, I planned an event at Warm daddy's which was one of the very first spots we hung out at. " Love on a Thursday" consisted of musical performances of close friends and of course me. Upon finishing one of my songs, I called Andrea to the stage in which she thought was a simple public thank you for all her support but it was also the moment that I asked her to marry me. With tears in her eyes she said yes! Dating Chris has been blissful. I found him to be a gentleman and most importantly I was attracted to his love for God. His character of integrity spoke volumes and I adored his creativity of music. When he proposed I was surprised ( Yes the water works came). I am so grateful that he chose me to be his wife.
