Things To Do

You can find anything you want to eat, drink, or do in Chicago, but below are a few of our favorites that are in the area!

Chicago River Boat Architecture Tour

If you've never been to Chicago, we highly recommend taking a river boat architecture tour! Learn about Chicago's beautiful architecture while cruising through the river with a drink in hand. There are many companies who offer tours (tickets online or down by the river), all of which are great.

Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

1028 North Rush Street, Chicago, IL 60611

A classic steakhouse located right across from The Thompson, Gibson's is a great spot for an old-school steak dinner or drinks. A true Chicago institution!

Lincoln Park Farmers Market

1817 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60614

One of Alexis' favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning. Stop by the farmers market for some fresh fruit or a bite before joining us for lunch on Saturday!

Twin Anchors Restaurant & Tavern

1655 North Sedgwick Street, Chicago, IL 60614

For some great ribs and a classic Chicago vibe, stop by Twin Anchors for dinner. This is one of Sam's favorite spots. Note - It's small and they don't take reservations, so this is a good recommendation for a smaller group who's okay with a wait.

Athenian Room

807 West Webster Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614

Another reservation-free institution in Lincoln Park. Enjoy some yummy Greek food, and stop by Glascott's (one of our favorite bars) for a drink before or to grab one to enjoy with your food.
