Devil's Lake State Park
Devil's Lake State Park offers magnificent views from 500-foot quartzite bluffs overlooking a 360-acre lake. Visitors enjoy nearly 30 miles of hiking trails. Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round. Vehicle Admission Sticker or pass is required.

One of the largest producer-only farmers’ markets in the U.S. with fresh fruits & veggies, cheese, meats, honey, flowers, baked goods, maple syrup, and more — all grown or made by the person behind the stand. University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum
A stone's throw away, visit the UW Madison Arboretum for pleasant nature walks, birdwatching, and learning. The Arboretum is free to visit. The Visitor Center is the central source of information and learning opportunities. You can pick up maps and brochures, visit the bookstore, fill your water bottle and use the restroom, and enjoy educational and art exhibits. The volunteer receptionist can answer questions and offer suggestions.
