A stone's throw away, visit the UW Madison Arboretum for pleasant nature walks, birdwatching, and learning. The Arboretum is free to visit. The Visitor Center is the central source of information and learning opportunities. You can pick up maps and brochures, visit the bookstore, fill your water bottle and use the restroom, and enjoy educational and art exhibits. The volunteer receptionist can answer questions and offer suggestions.
