FAQs

Need to Knows for the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Nero:
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We ADORE your children, but we hope you'll enjoy a night off to celebrate with us. With the exception of immediate family, our wedding will be adults only. Think of it as a date night: no kids, just good food, good music, and plenty of dancing!

Question

Are you registered for wedding gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest present of all. We are not traditionally registered for gifts and would appreciate monetary contributions as we save for our honeymoon and our future home.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our celebration will be intimate; so, only the guests listed on your invitation are welcome to attend. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is an unplugged one. We have hired professionals to capture our marriage; so, we ask you to sit back, relax, and be fully present with us as we officially become the Neros. No phones, devices, or cameras during the ceremony; we love you, but we love your faces more than your phones!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes; please specify within your RSVP by June 29th, 2026.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Those who know the soon-to-be Mrs. Nero know that she is a bespoke clothier who believes that overdressing is a myth. Formal attire is encouraged, however, dancing shoes are MANDATORY. This is not a joke. Have you met Mrs. Nero? Need a custom suit or tux? You already know who to call!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm sharp; so, please arrive and settle into your seat in the Washington Room by 4:15pm. We Do appreciate your promptness!

Question

When can I check in to my room at the George Washington?

Answer

As early as 8:00am on Friday, August 28th or Saturday, the 29th — we cannot wait to have you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Don't leave us hanging; please RSVP confirming your presence or absence by June 29th, 2026. To RSVP, please use the 'RSVP' tab in the menu. Cheers!
