FAQs

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is a present! We acknowledge that joining us for a destination wedding is a big commitment. Because of this, we've chosen not to create a registry. We kindly ask that you travel light (no gifts necessary) and come ready to have fun!

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we've decided to keep our wedding weekend adults-only. We hope this gives you a chance to kick back and fully enjoy the festivities with us! We know this requires extra planning for some, so we truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

When should I plan to arrive and depart?

Answer

We'll be kicking off the weekend with a welcome party on the evening of Thursday, April 15th. We recommend arriving on the 15th and would love for you to stay through the weekend, but please feel free to come earlier or extend your trip as long as you'd like!

Question

Can I stay at an Airbnb or another short-term rental?

Answer

Yes—but there's a small catch. It's currently illegal to operate a short-term rental property in the French Quarter neighborhood, so you likely won't be within easy walking distance of our wedding events. The rest of the city has strict guidelines as to how and where short-term rentals can be operated, so if you'd like to book one, please ensure it's properly licensed to avoid any hassle.

Question

What will the weather be like in April?

Answer

In short: Gorgeous! April is widely considered one of the best months to visit New Orleans. Expect daytime highs in the mid-70s to low 80s and evening lows in the 60s. It's usually sunny and breezy, though a quick spring shower is always a possibility in the Big Easy!

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Channel your inner Midwesterner and prepare for "all of the above." New Orleans weather loves a pivot, so we suggest packing a spring jacket or layers for the evenings when the temperature dips, as well as a small umbrella or light rain coat. Beyond that, sunglasses and comfortable walking shoes are non-negotiable—you're going to want to be ready for exploring!
