Wineries!
There are quite a few wineries in Cape May, but our favorites are Cape May Winery and Willow Creek Winery. They are very convenient to get to, and do we even need to comment on the vibes? Immaculate.
Congress Hall
America's first seaside resort! They have a wonderful Gatsby-esque lawn with bars available to get a cocktail (or two) and enjoy the atmosphere. Congress Hall is home to The Blue Pig Tavern if you want an elevated dining experience, The Brown Room if you are looking for Prohibition Era style lounge, and The Boiler Room if you find yourself craving underground pizza and live music.
Cape May Brewing Co. Tasting Room & Brewtique
Locally brewed? Sign us up! Cape May Brewing is not only a popular favorite down the shore, but also in our home city of Philadelphia. We hope your time here is hoppy and happy!
Behr Brewing
Another brewery to add to the list, and just 4 mins away from Cape May Brewing! These brews can only be found in the Cape May area, so be sure to give your taste buds a chance to try these Jersey beers.
Big Wave Burritos
What goes better with surfing and sunshine than a burrito? Check out one of our favorite grab-and-go joints for a delicious bite to eat. Big Wave is conveniently located in the heart of town for walkability and exceptional vibes.
McGlade's On The Pier
Cape May has a wide range of breakfast options (Bagel Time, Coffee Thyme, Uncle Bill's Pancake House and more). But, the very best option is McGlade's, a breakfast restaurant right ON the beach - they have more omelette options than we can count.
Washington Street Mall
Washington Street Mall is conveniently located in the heart of town and filled with local shops, cafe's, and restaurant. Make sure to check it out if you're looking for some Cape May merch!
Beach Plum Farm
A working farm with pigs and chickens, and a beautiful property to explore! The gorgeous farmhouse sells fresh produce as well as breakfast sandwiches and coffee for a morning pick me up. We love adding this as a stop in our day, and think you will too!
Miss Chris Marina
One of our very first dates! Here, you can rent paddle boards (what we did!), take out a kayak, experience a whale watching cruise, or go fishing in the marsh. Exploring Cape May through water activities is definitely something worth looking in to.
Cape May Tennis Club
For those wanting an activity to get the blood flowing, there are tennis courts you can reserve right in the heart of town. Tennis volley before vows anyone?
Surf Lessons with Jason!
Brandon signed Bridget up for a lesson with Jason and she was RIPPING some waves within 20 minutes (just don't ask to see the pics, looked way cooler in her head). If you ever had a desire to learn, Jason is the best guy to teach you. Reach out to Brandon for his information! Lessons take place on Queen Street Beach and are about an hour long.
Cape May National Golf Club
Whether you're in the mood for a full 18, quick 9-and-dine, or a golf cart beer, there are options for you! Cape May's public club course is worth the stop.
Village Bicycle Shop
What better way to explore a beach town than on a bike! We recommend cruising out to the lighthouse and Sunset Beach, passing some of Cape May's scenic farms including Rea's where you can pick up fresh fruit or pastries.
Cape May National Wildlife Refuge
Another date spot for the soon to be newlyweds ♡ Here you can find winding trails through the dunes and marshes, and wildlife sightings along the way. Cape May is known for its birding, where a wide variety of birds stop by during annual migrations.
