The road into Green Oaks is a bit long and windy, so give yourself some extra time to park and walk over to the ceremony. We recommend arriving between 2:30 and 3pm to give yourself plenty of time.
We're calling it California Coastal Chic...which basically means look snazzy, but leave your fancy gowns and stilettos and such at home. We want you to feel comfortable, and our venue is entirely outdoors (we will have heat lamps!), so be sure to bring a layer for the evening. There will also be barn dancing on the grass, so wear sensible shoes to have fun!
Not quite. Fall is (usually) really lovely on the coast, but be prepared for it to be chillier when the sun goes down. Pack that layer, or dance it up to stay warm! We'll have a backup tent for the reception if needed (but here's hoping for fabulous weather).
The venue is far from town, cell phone service is spotty, and the road is confusing, so unfortunately this isn't really an option. If you're concerned about getting back to your hotel safely, carpooling is a possibility, as vehicles can stay overnight at Green Oaks if need be. Please be smart and safe.
We want to make sure everyone is well fed, so our menu has got vegetarians, vegans and poultry eaters taken care of (in a meaningful, not just side dish way). If you're gluten free, please let us know, so our caterer can pull some of the meal before it is glutenized. We've got you.
Definitely! We chose Green Oaks in part because we loved the idea of all our favorite kids running around the property and exploring.
