We're getting married!

We met online in 2020 — neither of us expecting anything serious. But life had other plans. What started as something casual quickly turned into something real, and before we knew it, we were building a life together — buying a home, raising his son, and creating a family of our own. Over the years, we’ve faced more than a few hurdles, but through every challenge, we’ve been each other’s biggest cheerleaders. No matter what comes our way, we always find our way back to laughter, love, and teamwork. Kurt proposed during my very first CrossFit competition — right before I was supposed to compete! My immediate response was, “You can’t do this right now, I have to go compete!” But it couldn’t have been more perfect. Surrounded by my mom, grandmother, his mom, and his son Aiden — who sweetly asked, “Do you want to be a family?” — it was a moment we’ll never forget. In our five years together, our family has grown by quite a few paws: my golden retriever Boston, our pride and joy Salem Cat, our late sweet cancer warrior Billie Jean, our feisty girl cat Ruth, and our cheesy-boy Queso. We can’t wait to celebrate this long-awaited day with our closest friends and family — the people who have loved and supported us through every chapter of our story.
