While we had a small, intimate wedding in Aruba on March 18th, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate our marriage with you all! New Jersey holds a special place in our hearts, so get ready for the bash of the century on May 2nd!
Like many modern love stories, ours began on an app. Interestingly, we worked at DaVita at the time, but we never met in person. We started talking a few weeks before the world shut down for COVID. Leah wasn’t sure about mixing work with romance, so she stepped outside DaVita and gave Cam a firm handshake. That handshake led to a first date where Cam thought Leah talked too much. But little did we know, a Lebanese girl from Colorado who talks too much and an adventurous Italian-American from New Jersey had a lot in common, and it kept us both curious enough to see where things might go. Thanks to lockdown life, the early and uncertain days were slow, but we knew it wasn't casual anymore once we started her family's meeting each day. From there, it just felt right. Over the (many) years, we’ve built a relationship around the things we love most: traveling, cooking, and eating our way through new places. We’ve been so fortunate to see amazing parts of the world together—and no matter where we are, we’re still just two kids at heart, always finding a reason to play “punch buggy.” Cam’s proposal was a complete surprise. Leah had no idea it was happening that day (and neither did her bright green nails, despite everyone’s subtle attempts to hint otherwise). It was perfectly “us”—unexpected, funny, and loving.
