Alex and Rachel met while working together at a butcher shop in St. Augustine, Florida. They spent long hours, often 50 hours a week, building a strong friendship through humor and countless spongebob references. Their friendship grew deeper with each work shift and when Rachel left the butcher shop Alex realized he couldn't live with out her. Fast forward to March 2024, Alex plans to propose during a special trip to California. On the last day of their trip, surrounded by the beauty of South Lake Tahoe, Alex found the perfect setting at Ciera Steak and Chop House. After a delicious ribeye steak, wine and cheesecake, Alex, with his Grandmother's ring in hand and a heart full of love, proposed to Rachel, making the end of their California adventure the beginning of a lifetime together.
