Best Man
Eddie is a steadfast friend through all of life’s seasons. His advice is like gold—always wise and never misleading. Every time I’ve followed it, it has led to something better. Despite distance and life’s changes, our friendship remains strong. Loyal and reliable, he stands firm through anything. Even if we don’t talk daily, he’s always there. "Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel." – Proverbs 27:9
Maid of Honor
Thoughtful, generous, beautiful inside and out—just a few words that describe my beloved big sister, Rakhel. A woman of God with great caliber, a driven entrepreneur (@edenray!), and a law degree in her back pocket. A classy woman who walks her own path—fearless, resilient, and, as we all know, incredibly stunning. My whole life, I have looked up to her—not for what she has or does, but for the beautiful person she is. My very own superhero. My Lalli. I’m so grateful that she is the one sharing this day with me.
Best Man
Our paths crossed unexpectedly, but it was clear God had a plan. We’ve faced challenges together, built a church side by side, and shared both sorrow and joy. Through it all, he’s been a rock—firm in truth, never compromising on God’s Word. His guidance is always rooted in Scripture, and his integrity is unwavering. I’ve seen him grow from singleness to marriage and now fatherhood. Having him by my side is a blessing, and I’m grateful for our journey together. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17
Bridesmaid
In the smallest details, Deborah is a woman you can rely on—there is nothing she wouldn’t do for the ones she loves. Her heart is almost too big for her own good. In many ways I strive to be like her. She cooks like no one else, she can make anything look beautiful. Simply with her presence she makes everyone around her feel safe and loved. She is not just my cousin; she is my sister whom I can talk to about anything. She is so precious to me. Since the cradle, she has been my friend. There is no doubt that my beloved Debbie is the one who will share this day with me. She is also the one who will represent my other cousins that I love and cherish so much. As she stands with me at that alter on my wedding day, they also stand with me. Mosit, Timar, Natalin & Victoria. You all make life so much greater, I am so grateful to God for our sisterhood. Love you.
Best Man
Ken has been my roommate for the past two years—a visionary, a dreamer, and a friend who challenges me to think bigger and deeper. But most of all, he has been a friend who has stood by my side in times of need. His loyalty and integrity are unwavering, and he is one of the people I know I can always count on. We have journeyed through an important season together—preparing for marriage. Sharing that journey with Ken and his wife, Mariam, has been a blessing. He is one of the best listeners I know—someone who truly hears, understands, and reflects before he speaks. Having a friendship like this has been invaluable, and I am grateful for the place he holds in my life. "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity." — Proverbs 17:17
Bridesmaid
We met through our shared love for Jesus and R&B. Little did we know then that we would become such close friends, but God had plans for us. Emnet is a woman of faith—her heart does not waver, and because of that, neither do those around her. She is a loyal friend who is always—truly always—there. She is there with advice, support, comfort, and last but not least… laughter! Despite the long distance over the years, I know that you are my sister for life. My heart’s friend, my best friend. No wedding without Emnet—I’m so grateful that you are standing by my side on this day.
Best Man
A little brother is something I had wished for for a long time, and later in life, I finally got one—in the form of Abbe. His name means A stone of help, and that is exactly what he has been in my life. His presence brings a stillness, a tangible peace that is hard to explain. Many times, when I’m asked at work how many siblings I have, I unknowingly count Abbe in. He has helped me countless times, in ways that only he can. In fact, he is one of the biggest reasons Meron and I are getting married—he has been my Eliezer, my helper, on this journey. Every time I spend time with Abbe, I leave with a sense of inner peace. He is one of the most humble, selfless, and pure-hearted people I know—always generous, always with his heart in the right place. “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24
Bridesmaid
They say you don’t truly know someone until you’ve lived with them. Both Kocob and I can definitely say—we know each other well! 😂 We have laughed and cried in each other’s arms, prayed for one another, and stood by each other’s side even through the hardest times. We have fasted together, danced together, mourned together, and celebrated together. God placed you right next to me—literally. There you were, sitting beside me at Bible school. Little did I know that the girl from Köping would become my best friend. My prayer partner, a woman of God that inspires me with her persistent love for Jesus. It is my joy to have you share this day with me. It is an answered prayer for both of us.
