Cameron and Crystal’s story began in April 2019 at their mutual friends’ high-school house party. At the time, Cameron was a high school senior just three months away from leaving for college in Missouri, while Crystal was a junior in high school. Neither of them knew that one night would change the course of their lives. The two immediately hit it off and began dating shortly afterward. They spent nearly every day together that summer, making the most of every moment before Cameron left for college. Although they knew long distance wouldn’t be easy, they were determined to make it work. For the next five months, Cameron and Crystal navigated the distance between Massachusetts and Missouri through countless phone calls, FaceTimes, and visits whenever they could. Their commitment to one another never wavered, and eventually Cameron transferred to a college in Massachusetts. Before long, they both found themselves attending UMass Amherst together—a chapter of their story neither of them could have imagined when they first met. Over the years, Cameron and Crystal have traveled to countless destinations, created unforgettable memories, and grown alongside one another through every season of life. From high school sweethearts to college students, and now partners building a future together, each chapter has strengthened the foundation of their relationship. On June 19, 2026, Cameron asked Crystal to marry him, and she joyfully said yes. Now, surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends, they’re excited to begin their next chapter together as husband and wife—and they can’t wait to celebrate it with everyone they love.
