We met on Hinge, the online dating app, November 2024. We connected about Cooper, my Shih Tzu, and next thing you know, he asked me out on our first date to dinner at Tap 42, but the Coral Gables not the one in Naples where I live! That’s when I realized we didn’t live in the same city. Once realizing we didn’t live in the same city, I gave him an out. Zach being a man of his word, he drove over 2 hours from Miami to Naples for our first date. I remember his words on our first date, “No one usually sees this side of me”, after we had been speaking about our medical background. Our nerdy sides bonded and we have been inseparable since. 🥰 The Proposal _____________________ On our fifth date and first date as official boyfriend/girlfriend, Zach invited me on his Uncle Mark’s yacht. I remember it was a rainy chilly day but it was so wonderful to meet his family and friends. Uncle Mark graciously let us stay the night because it was a long drive back to Naples for me. I remember feeling so happy that I cried that night. I didn’t think happiness like that was possible. It was the beginning of our love story. Fast forward to Saturday, November 29th 2025, when Uncle Mark invited us, April, Bob, and my mom for a ride. It was another chilly gloomy day just like almost a year prior. I remember Zach brought me down to one of the rooms. I got emotional because I remembered the first time we were there. Next thing I know he’s proposing and I’m crying. It was the most perfect full circle moment.
