Lani and Jeff were first introduced by one of Jeff's co-workers and one of Lani's friends, Alexis Beach. At first, Lani wasn't feeling what Jeff was throwing out there, and Jeff thought Lani was a bit of a stick in the mud. All it took was some coordination by matchmaker, Alexis, Lani missing a date time, and Jeff's persistance, for them to realize they might be the perfect match! After many travels across various countries, including a #lifebreak in Europe, Jeff was certain that Lani was the one for him. In December of 2017, in the privacy of their suite at Ventana Big Sur, and with the help of their new fury family member, Remy, Jeff proposed to Lani.
