Historic Downtown Long Grove
Historic Long Grove is only 15 minutes away from Chevy Chase. All month long there will be Long Grove October Days! Get spooky with Long Grove this October! From ladies night out, to family fun, hop on your broom sticks and enjoy some Halloween fun. Thursday Oct, 12th, is Witches Night Out! Businesses in Historic Downtown Long Grove will be open late for grown-up witches and warlocks to have fun shopping, sipping and dining! Sunday, Oct 15th, there will be a Pet Costume Parade starting at 12pm (maybe we can convince Kiwi to walk)!
Lincolnshire Commons
Just 5 mintues away from Chevy Chase. At the Lincolnshire Commons, there are multiple restaurants including, Cheesecake Factory, Fat Rosie's Taco & Tequila Bar, Poke Bros, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Naf Naf Grill, Tomahawk BBQ Steakhouse, Chipy Cafe, Wildfire, and Big Bowl.
Chicago Botanic Garden
Only a 20 minute drive from Chevy Chase. The Chicago Botanic Garden has 385 acres of nature, beauty, and respite to discover. The weekend of the wedding from Oct 11-15 there will also be the Night of 1,000 Jack-o'-Lanterns, where artist-carved pumpkins light your way through the Garden after dark. You'll find costumed entertainers and live carving demos along our paved path, as well as seasonal light fare and drinks for purchase. It's slightly sinister fun for all!
