The Journey Of A Lifetime

Computer Love

Computer Love! We met via dating site. It was an interesting conversation to say the least. Let's just say we were both cautious, but in time we exchanged numbers. We decided to do a meet and greet at Atlantic Station, both of us not fully knowing what to expect and also openly optimistic. I arrived to meet her at West Elm. I called her and she said, "hey I'm here", and I said, "so am I". I then said, "I don't see you", and she then said in true Jessica fashion, "I'm right here". I then described what I was seeing and she said, "you are on the other side of the store", and for some reason this made me think of us being two strangers meeting up for the first time, Jessica from the West side of Atlanta and me from Jamaica. So I walked towards her and I looked into her eyes and her smile floored me, I was saying to myself God she is lovely. My only concern at this point was, is she as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside? Well, let's just say God allowed me to see her and what I mean by that is, I was able to see her true beauty throughout our conversations. At the end of the night I walked her to her car and I knew from that moment that our lives were aligned for a greater purpose. So we both agreed that we will go out on a date. We chose Piedmont Park. The date was fun, exciting, and we took the time to get to know each other. We became inseperable from that point onward.

09-10-2018

It was a rainy day and we were out running errands and celebrating my birthday. I thought about what I wanted for my birthday early that morning and I knew that I wanted to make Jessica my wife. While running errands I drove over to Piedmont Park. At this moment Jessica was saying, "babe”, it's raining why would you want to go to the park"? Of course I knew she was in detective mode, because when she made her statement she had a smile on her face while she was looking all around. I pulled into the parking space at the park and after I opened her door we proceeded to walk through the park. The whole time I'm doing my best to hide the ring from her. We walked towards a beautiful pier where we had spent time on our first date. I held her hands, looked into her bright eyes and said, "I have enjoyed this beautiful journey with you so far and you are one of my greatest gifts. That's why I am asking you to marry me on my birthday". We embraced each other and she said, "yes, definitely yes, sure enough yes", and then she said, “baby please get up off the ground ducks poop around here”.~LOL~ YEP I SAID IT
