This is a fun street in the Hampden neighborhood. This neighborhood was an old stomping ground for John Waters, so keep your eyes peeled for some weird and wonderful sites! You can fill the day with delicious eats (The Charmery for ice cream, Golden West Cafe for brunch, and The Food Market) and fun shops (Doubledutch Boutique, Atomic Books), and then wash it all down with an amazing cocktail from Bluebird or a beer from Five and Dime.
One of Baltimore's biggest craft breweries, this place is home to great outdoor seating and often has live music. There's also a climbing gym, distillery, and ice cream shop in the same building. What more can you ask for?!
This neighborhood has a special place in our hearts since it's where we lived prior to moving to Colorado. Come visit America's first monument to George Washington! You can climb right up, or you can get a great view from a nearby swanky rooftop bar called Topside. AVAM: a museum dedicated to work by self-taught folk artists. You won't see anything like this at another museum. The building itself is a work of art with mosaics and wind mobiles outside. Right next door to AVAM, find Federal Hill (Charlie's old stompin' grounds). Just what it sounds like, Federal Hill played some kind of important role for the US army during the War of 1812. Today, Fed Hill offers beautiful views of the city and lots of historical plaques.
For those looking to play some golf, this is an absolutely gorgeous course on the water, not too far from the hotel block.
