An Update from Alexandra & Dylan: With heavy hearts, we’ve made the decision to cancel our wedding due to Dylan’s unexpected deployment. While this wasn’t the path we originally planned, we’re grateful for each other, deeply in love, and officially married. The days that followed were filled with moments touched by magic, but challenges soon followed. Duty called Alex to a new chapter in Ohio, separating her from Dylan by hundreds of miles. But love, when true, is never bound by distance. Dylan became her steadfast knight. When Alex bought her first home, he surprised her with sunflowers—a token of his unwavering support. And every time Alex faced life’s hurdles, Dylan boarded flights to be by her side, proving that no obstacle could stand between them. By July 19, 2021, Alex could no longer contain the truth in her heart. She transformed her home into a love letter, adorning it with handwritten notes for Dylan to find. As he arrived at her house and read her words, the truth became undeniable: they were meant to be. For ten months, they braved the trials of a long-distance romance, their love growing stronger with every challenge. They marked this chapter with matching “777” tattoos—a symbol of their commitment and blessings. When the time came for Alex to write the next chapter of her life, she and her loyal dog, Blue, embarked on a new journey to Destin to join Dylan and his faithful companion, Toyo. From that day forward, their lives became a shared adventure. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and love. They explored the world, supported each other through life’s twists and turns, and found joy in the simple moments shared. Dylan became Alex’s rock, and Alex became Dylan’s greatest treasure.
