Kristina and Angel "met" through the internet before swiping right replaced the speed dating industry. Kristina's eyes popped right through Angel's screen and he was thinking of ways to put his lit degree to use, for once. Angel mulled over the perfect ice breaker for what felt like hours, and he eventually worked up the cyber courage to muster up a poetic "hey". For some reason (Angel likes to think it was his handsome picture) Kristina replied. Once Kristina learned that Angel was Peruvian, she mentioned a pollo a la brasa restaurant that she frequented growing up. Like most men, the way to Angel's heart is food so he was happy to know that she knew a little about his culture (considering he had no idea she was also Hispanic). When Kristina shared that her family was Cuban, Angel was surprised and the two spent the next few days messaging back and forth bonding over their love of culture, food, and family. Even though Angel swore off dating "Latinas" (mostly due to growing up in a household full of them) he decided there was something special about Kristina and decided to meet her in person. Angel invited Kristina to play pool, and the two hit it off. Conversation came easy and both felt a connection. After seven years of dating, Angel finally popped the question (all it took was surviving a Pandemic together). Kristina and Angel were so happy to start this next chapter of life together and plan their special day! They are beyond excited to join their families together and officially become Mr. and Mrs. Moyet.
