Sarah will be taking the last name of, "Walsh."
GREAT Question! Regarding our guest lists, Lauren had the higher numbers in Connecticut (her home state), versus Sarah's family in California and other parts of the U.S. Rather than having a destination wedding and asking everyone to travel, we chose the East Coast so that only the smaller side would be asked to travel. This was an incredibly hard decision; one of the hurdles that surprisingly came with finding love on opposite ends of the United States! Thank you for understanding.
If all goes according to plan, Sarah will be in a white wedding dress and Lauren will be in a black wedding dress. WELP - All did not go according to plan! Both Brides will be in a hue of white.
Reciprocal IVF is the process by which Sarah and Lauren can both be involved when having a baby. One partner contributes their eggs (genetic contribution) while the other partner carries and gives birth to the child (physical contribution). This has been Sarah and Lauren's dream goal for a VERY LONG time!
