The Wedding Website of Ariana Elizabeth Moshref and Thomas James Wright
We will continue to update this page as we receive questions throughout the planning process. If have a question not shown below, please reach out to the couple via email: moshwright@gmail.com.
Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your children, but our wedding day will be adults only. Please let us know if we can help with childcare recommendations.

Question

What are the dress codes?

Answer

Welcome Party (Elevated Casual): Nice jeans or slacks, button downs, blazers, and dresses are all acceptable. Ties not required. Reception (Black-Tie Optional): Tuxes and floor-length gowns encouraged. Ties required, bowties encouraged. Suggest dresses to be mid-length or longer. After Party (Come As You Are): Roll in wearing your reception outfit, or change into something more comfy. Anything goes! Brunch with the Newlyweds (Casual): Comfort is key - jeans, leggings and tees are all acceptable.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes. Ceremony: There is ample, free parking on the Marquette University campus. Please see the Gesu website for more information: https://gesuparish.org/parking Reception: There is an uncovered lot, N Broadway Lot 1167, east across the street from The Grain Exchange, or there is a covered garage, The Huron Garage, directly south of the venue on N Broadway.

Question

What should I expect at a Catholic wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be a traditional, 60-minute Catholic mass, which includes the Eucharist/Communion. If you are not Catholic, we invite you to participate only to the extent you feel comfortable. When Communion is given, you may stay seated, or form an "X" with your arms across your chest in order to receive a blessing. Our priest and liturgy participants will signify when to perform certain actions, such as stand, sit, or sing. We will also have ceremony programs to guide you through each section of mass. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

We have listed our favorite Milwaukee haunts in the "Explore MKE" page. All locations are a convenient drive/Uber or walk from the church. We definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat, and enjoying a famous Milwaukee beer or Bloody Mary! Disco naps are also acceptable. ;)

Question

May I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on each wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear on the invitation envelope, as well as under your name when you RSVP.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Milwaukee in the fall tends to be mild and pleasant. Expect temperatures in the 50-60s. All events will take place indoors, but you may wish to bring a light jacket or wrap for traveling to and from buildings, and exploring the city.
