While our timelines at the University of Kentucky never crossed, our friends overlapped after graduation, and we quickly integrated into the same circles. 2018-2020 filled itself with late-night karaoke bars, trips to cabins and Keeneland, and many other platonic adventures. When the pandemic guided everyone indoors, we made separate life choices in response to cabin fever; Ashely bought her first home, and Bryan went back to grad school, again. A year passed, and Bryan returned to Lexington for residency. On New Year's Eve in 2021, a conversation that began about Harry Potter lore led to a dinner date featuring Harry Potter-themed cocktails. We stayed up late chatting and continued to explore our newfound connection over the following months. Discoveries about our roots in Cincinnati and our shared values made things progress all too well. Bryan moved into the townhouse shortly after returning to Lexington, and we began to build a small life together. Since those fast beginnings, we have continued to grow our world through trips to Disney, Universal Studios, Red River Gorge, Charleston, the Outer Banks, and more. The family has expanded with four-legged additions Nova and Butters, and our life together has taken shape. We can’t wait to celebrate with you close to home in Covington, KY, this coming May 2026!
