Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the strict allowed space in the venue, only the names listed on the invitations are able to attend. We will do everything in our power to have a live stream available for those who are unable to attend.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The venue is outside, the reception is under a covered area with provisions for bad weather.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

No alcohol will be permitted on the property.

Are phones and recording allowed?

Answer

This will be an unplugged ceremony. There will be a moment provided for you to capture your own photo, after that we respectfully request you put all devices away and enjoy the ceremony. At the reception, feel free to capture moments you love, there will be prompts provided at the on the tables. We look forward to seeing your point of view.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our aim is to have the ceremony ending at sunset. Prior to the Ceremony, starting at 6:30pm, there will be an hour with light refreshments for guest upon arrival.

How long should I allot for travel?

Answer

At a later date, we will provide a link to live ferry wait times. Coming from the east side, you do not need to get on the ferry. Be prepared to check traffic and ferry times, it varies from day to day.

Will there be assigned seats?

Answer

Aside from a couple of assigned tables for immediate family and wedding party at the reception, there will be no assigned seats at the ceremony or reception. You are loved by both the bride and groom. Pick a seat not a side.

Where should I park?

Answer

Carpooling is encouraged, there will be a small parking lot available. There will also be additional parking down the beach, be prepared for a little bit of a walk. Look for signs indicating where to turn in and park.

What if I need to stay overnight?

Answer

There are RV parks, hotels, etc. on the peninsula as well as the main island. https://www.bolivarpeninsulatexas.com/Housing Air B&B, Booking.com, VRBO, Expedia, and Travelocity all have options for overnight stay.

What is the attire?

Answer

Our vibe is beach dressy. The ceremony will be in a grassy area, therefore skinny heals are discouraged. Respectfully refrain from wearing white.
