We are getting married!

In January of 2015, Ben noticed Melissa was running late to math lab and stepped in to help, making sure she got there on time. He couldn’t help but be intrigued by her focus and confidence. Little did they know that a small gesture would mark the start of something extraordinary. A few days later, Melissa took the bold step of sending Ben a DM on Instagram, catching him completely off guard. He quickly said yes to getting to know her better, and their first date was full of laughs, connection, and a little friendly competition at Bradley Bowl. From that moment, it was clear that we had found a love that is rare and unforgettable in each other. Over the past 10 years, they’ve weathered two different universities, endured door-to-door 4 hour long distance trips, and even embraced Melissa’s love of peanut butter. They've traveled the world, snorkeling, ziplining, trying new foods, and cherishing both grand experiences and quiet moments side-by-side. In August of 2025, while on a European summer vacation, Ben decided it was the perfect time to change his title from boyfriend to fiancé. With the Caldera in Santorini as the backdrop, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Spoiler alert: Melissa said yes (twice actually)! After a decade of love, laughter, and shared adventures, we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives together.
