We're getting married!!

A HIDDEN GEM NOT MANY KNOW........ We dated back in 7th grade! just us 13 year olds young and one of our first relationships. We were brought together by a friend of a friend. Our whirlwind two-week dating adventure was short but filled with fun, laughter, and lots of trips to the mall.... marking the start of something special that we both cherish to this day. Fast forward to high school, and our paths crossed again, reigniting that spark. On June 16, 2019, we officially started dating, and from there, everything just felt right. That summer was filled with laughter and adventure; we spent almost every day at Adventureland in Altoona, IA, making memories that felt like pure magic. As the fall arrived, we supported each other at our games—I'd be on the sidelines cheering for his football and baseball matches, while he would enthusiastically root for me at my soccer and volleyball games. It was a time of growth, not just individually but as a couple, as we celebrated each other's passions. Then came 2020, when Tyler made the exciting decision to pursue his dreams at Iowa State, leaving for Ames in early January 2021 after graduating early. He started as a business major but soon discovered his true passion in kinesiology (exercise science). While he was off pursuing his goals, I stayed back to finish high school and eventually decided to follow my dreams in interior design which I sadly stopped playing my childhood sport, soccer. Now, we’re both at Iowa State, living together and building a life side by side. Our adorable dog Bowe is the highlight of our days, reminding us of the journey we've had and the love that continues to grow between us. Our story started in those formative years, and we can’t help but feel excited about where our journey will take us next.
