We are getting hitched!!

If you're here, chances are you already know the story of how we met. But for this special occasion, we thought we'd share it again. During the pandemic, we escaped the city and met some of our dearest friends at Lake Oconee. A big thank you to Danny and Riley for inviting us! While enjoying the peaceful lake views, Riley mentioned that Danny and his friends were coming up for the weekend and would be driving the boat for us. Little did I know, one of those friends would be the love of my life, Ryan Monty. From the moment I met him, I was smitten. He was handsome, charming, and had a great sense of humor. Plus, he could rock a mustache! The flirtation was real, and I knew it was either going to be a funny story or the beginning of something beautiful. Thankfully, it was the latter. Ryan and I parted ways after a week of shared sunsets, laughter, and lunch beers. He followed through on his promise to take me on a date, and he didn't disappoint. He showed up at my door with a picnic basket in tow, and we spent the afternoon exploring Winn Park sporting smiles from ear to ear. In the same spot we got engaged 4 years later :) Since then, we've been on countless adventures together. We've attended 20+ weddings, tried countless restaurants, cooked delicious meals (mostly Ryan), worked out together, walk/run with our dog Theo, watched countless movies, dominated the pickleball court (well, most of the time), traveled, DIY projects and so much more. Life is truly better shared with your best friend. We're so grateful for our love story and can't wait to celebrate with you all! -Emily
