A one mile stretch of white sandy beach, and a surfing hotspot. Parking is available but fills up very early so plan accordingly! Snack bars and restrooms available.
A 1.5 mile picturesque cliff walk along the shores of Ogunquit. It's a 10min drive from York on the highway, or 15mins if you take the scenic route on Shore Road (highly recommend!).
After you walk Marginal Way, stroll through Ogunquit's old fishing & artists village for shopping and lunch.
Maine is known for their craft breweries. The local favorites are sister properties: York Beach Beer Co & SoMe Brewing. Another local favorite is the Wiggly Bridge Distillery, known for their small batch spirits.
You'll see it from our wedding venue, but we recommend grabbing a lobster roll from Fox's, and take in the view from the rocks at Nubble Lighthouse as well!
A York Beach landmark since 1896! The Goldenrod is an old fashioned soda fountain that shouldn't be missed. They're famous for their salt water taffy “Kisses”, and also offer 135 homemade ice cream flavors & candy by the pound. They also offer a full breakfast, lunch & dinner menu.
