Themio and Jackie met during their pharmacy residency in the summer of 2016. It would be nice to say it was love at first sight, but that's not exactly how this love story began. Themio was quite intimidated by Jackie's wild personality and zealous nature, but he quickly realized she was the one. After a fall weekend trip to Maine, Themio had asked Jackie to be his girlfriend. Three years, countless memories, and one dog later, these two are excited to spend the rest of their lives together.

Themio and Jackie went to New Jersey to spend their first Christmas together. Her family had waited to decorate the tree until everyone was home. Once the tree had been decorated, Themio suggested they take a picture together. He handed Jackie a wrapped present, which he said was a new sweater for Bear. As Jackie opened the gift, she quickly realized it was not a sweater, but instead a collar for Bear. She put the collar on and noticed a gold plate engraved with the words, "will you marry me?" As she turned around, Themio was on one knee, with most beautiful ring in his hand, and asked her to marry him.
