We were both at the Italian Festival, I was with my family and Joe was working. A family member had on a shirt that I had made that said "Fuggedaboudit" and Joe instantly took notice... first to the shirt and then to Me. Joe asked to buy a shirt for himself and I excitedly (but subtly) got his contact info (just to ship the shirt) and a few weeks later he ordered two more and I (just happened to be coming to Joe's town) offered to deliver them personally. The shirt delivery turned into our first date serving the local homeless community along with Kendyll. After our first quick dinner together Kendyll looked at me and said, "Mommy I really like him" - so did I but I didn't admit that to her right way :) We had both been praying for quite some time for a Christian man/woman to cross their paths and God knew exactly what he was doing that day at the Italian Festival.
