Jennifer and Alexander met while attending the University of South Florida during the spring semester of Jennifer’s freshman year and Alexander’s junior year. On January 14, 2021 God brought their paths together through a simple introduction. From the very first moment, something felt undeniable. Their connection was instant, effortless, and deeply familiar, like two people meant to find one another at just the right time. On March 21, 2021, Alexander asked Jennifer to be his girlfriend. From that day forward, they chose each other through every season of life, celebrating milestones, supporting one another, and building a relationship that felt steady, joyful, and unshakable. College quickly became the place where their love grew. Between long walks, exploring Tampa, dining hall runs, and countless late night conversations, they built a bond rooted in friendship, laughter, and deep affection. Those early years were filled with simple moments that meant everything and a love that only grew stronger with time. Their story has always reached beyond one place. Jennifer’s roots span cultures and countries from her Cuban heritage to time spent living in Peru before calling Florida home. Alexander grew up in New York shaped by the traditions of his Russian mother and Palestinian father. Together, they are a true blend of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences a love that has always reached beyond borders. In December 2022, Alexander graduated from USF and moved back home to Long Island to work with his dad beginning the long distance chapter of their relationship. Though miles separated them nothing about their connection changed. Long nights on FaceTime, constant messages, surprise visits, plane tickets and emotional airport reunions became part of their everyday lives. Distance did not test their love - it strengthened it. Jennifer graduated in May of 2023 and stayed in Tampa to begin her career while Alexander continued searching for opportunities that would bring him back to Florida. For nearly two years, long distance became the foundation of their relationship built on trust, communication, patience and the certainty that they were always moving toward the same future. During that time, both of them were growing individually and in their own careers, while also praying for the day they could finally be in the same city again. In June of 2024, Alexander returned to Florida closing the distance and beginning a new chapter side by side. What they had built across miles now had space to grow even deeper rooted in everything they had already weathered together. After almost five years together, Alexander planned the most perfect surprise. On August 29, 2025, surrounded by their closest friends and family in Miami, he asked Jennifer to spend forever with him. It was emotionally unforgettable and a true reflection of the love they had built across miles, cultures and time. From college hallways to airport gates from different backgrounds and places to one shared future, their journey has always led them back to each other. Now with a lifetime ahead of them Jennifer and Alexander cannot wait to step into their next chapter together hand in hand, heart to heart, finally home.
