Turkey Trot Trail
This is a beautiful trail for those who want to get a taste of hiking in Colorado. This trail offers beautiful views of Denver, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and wildlife. This hike is relatively easy. Length: 3.0 mi Elevation gain: 793 ft Route type: Loop Level: Moderate From I70 East, take exit 260 CO-470 E/Hwy 470 E toward Colorado Springs. Drive for 4.4 miles and take the Morrison Rd exit. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for Colorado 8/Morrison Road and merge onto CO-8 W/Bear Creek Ave/W Morrison Rd. Turn left onto CO-8 W (signs for US-285/Fairplay). Turn right on Forest Ave and take first right onto Vine St. The parking lot/trail head is at the end of this road.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
If you are able to catch a concert here, you've hit the jackpot! Still stop by to enjoy the beauty of the red rocks if you cannot catch a concert. The visitor center has information on trails and the park history.
Washington Park
With its lush landscapes and 2 lakes, Wash Park is a great (free) way to spend an afternoon! The park has jogging trails, tennis courts, boat rentals and more.
Coors Brewery Tour
You can take a self-guided tour through the brewery for $10 and can sample some beer in their tasting room. This brewery is kid-friendly!
Avanti Food and Beverage
This place is so fun! Avanti is a large food hall located in the LoHi neighborhood of Denver. This is a bi-level building with many food options to choose from and a rooftop bar. We love to go here for lunch and a drink while enjoying views of downtown Denver.
The Rackhouse
Large beer hall with life size games including beer pong, connect four, and cornhole.
The Denver Central Market
Located in RiNo, this is a gourmet market and food hall. While in this area, walk around RiNo and see the street art and visit some local breweries.
